Description: This project implemented at the time the new CPS Urban Model High School which is design to serve 1200 students. This school is three stories tall plus a lower level, the building has a steel frame as well as a masonry exterior. It was designed to achieve a silver rating under the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED for Schools Rating System. The school also contains close to 25% recycled content materials and close to 37% of the materials used were manufactured within 500 miles of the jobsite. The school is located near Robert J. Richardson Middle School formerly known as Southwest Area Middle School which All Construction Group also performed the masonry work on.
