About us

ALL Construction Group is a family-owned, MBE certified general contractor, founded in 1959. We are also the largest mason contractor in the Chicagoland area and self-perform our own masonry, concrete, carpentry and drywall work with our own labor forces allowing us to push subcontractor crews to achieve schedule milestones. We have completed projects for the Public Building Commission of Chicago, Chicago Cubs, Chicago Housing Authority, Metra, Cicero School District 99, Indian Prairie Community Unit School District 204, Forest Preserve of Cook County, and Morton College to go along with many other private and public clients. Our staff has significant experience working on interiors and exteriors with a demonstrated track record of managing these projects to their original construction schedule and within their original budget. These projects and others of their type are delivered on time as a result of our proactive strategies of scope identification and trade contractor bidding during preconstruction. This, coupled with our project management approach during the construction period which includes site investigation/discovery work, preconstruction planning, coordination meetings with trade contractors, and resource allocation monitoring allows ALL Construction Group to streamline our construction period. This allows trade contractors to fully understand their parameters of work prior to mobilizing manpower and equipment. Our in-house estimating capability is rooted in our knowledge gained and lessons learned over our firm’s 60+ years of history. Our estimators use digital on-screen takeoff software for measuring and calculating square footage, lineal footage, quantity, volume, and surface area of construction material required for projects. Our process and approach for completing a new construction project includes a detailed focus on the cost and schedule critical components of a project as early as possible during the preconstruction phase. We seek to learn the “mission critical” elements to ensure that the early design idea embodies simple and economic solutions to suit an Owner’s expectations.

 Luis Puig Jr.
President, All Construction Group/All Masonry

Following the foundation his father, Luis Puig Sr., laid down, Luis Puig Jr. set to make his mark in the construction industry. After graduating from Bradley University in 1986 with a degree in Construction Engineering, Luis went right to work for All Masonry. Starting as an estimator, then project manager, Luis became president of the company in 2014. Since then, he has dedicated his efforts to creating a sustainable business model that spurs positive change for the city of Chicago. In 2016, the Chicago Cubs recognized this hard work when they announced All Masonry as the recipient of the 10th Annual Jackie Robinson Most Valuable Diverse Business Partner. The award recognizes businesses who reflect Jackie Robinson’s character and commitment to excellence and continue to break barriers. This award reflects the culmination of perseverance and determination that Luis and All Masonry as a whole have been striving towards ever since his father started the company in 1959. In 2019, All Masonry received the Excellence in Masonry Award marking the 20th time the company has received the award since its inception. Luis is currently a member of the International Masonry Institute, Masonry Contractors Association of Greater Chicago, Illinois Concrete Producers Association of America, Associated General Contractors of Illinois, and is currently an Illinois Representative for the Mason Contractors Association of America.
